Why LED needs the right dimmer

Swapping old lamps for LED often shows up problems with existing dimmers, such as flicker, buzzing or lamps that will not dim down smoothly. A dimmer designed for LED loads gives you a better chance of a clean result. The All LED ADIM150 is a universal 2 way module rated at 150W, and its grid version comes with adaptor plates so it can sit in a grid switch layout. Always check the lamp manufacturer's guidance on dimming and stay within the dimmer's load.

Choosing the right format

Think about where the dimmer will go. A standard 1 gang plate, like the Deta S1414 350W dimmer switch in white, suits a simple single circuit.
