Fire Safety, Alarms and CCTV

Smoke, heat and CO alarms

Aico makes up a large part of this collection. You will find optical smoke alarms with battery back up, mains heat alarms with rechargeable or alkaline back up, and carbon monoxide alarms with lithium batteries. Beyond the alarms themselves, Aico SmartLINK modules, the HomeLINK gateway and environmental sensors that track temperature, humidity and CO2 give landlords and housing providers a clearer picture of what is happening in a property. The Aico switched input module and the 230V hard wired alarm control switch are listed too, for jobs that need more than a basic alarm.

Security, access and passive protection

The CCTV, wireless alarms and smart doorbells section includes Dahua Security products for protecting homes and business premises, with Timeguard and Deta also in the wider range. Disabled alarms, used in accessible toilets so someone can call for help, have their own section. Intumescent fire pillows sit here as well, used to fill service openings in walls and floors where cables pass through. Each of these jobs comes with its own requirements, so check the product details against the job spec before you order anything.
