Cable Clips

Cable Clips for T&E, Fire Rated and FP200 Cable

Twin and earth clips

Flat twin and earth clips are the everyday fixing for domestic wiring. The Unicrimp clips here include a tub of 800 for 1mm and 2.5mm T&E, plus grey flat clips for 2.5mm, 4 to 6mm and 10 to 16mm T&E in packs of 100. There is also a double flat clip for 2.5mm twin and earth. Matching the clip to the cable gives a snug fit that holds the cable without crushing the sheath, so it is worth keeping a few sizes in the van to cover lighting, socket and cooker circuits.

Fire rated clips and FP200

Cables in escape routes need fixings that won't give way early in a fire, which is why fire rated clips have become standard on so many jobs. D-Line Safe-D fire rated clips are listed in 25mm and 38mm sizes, in packs of 100 and 50. For fire alarm and emergency lighting circuits, Prysmian FP200 clips in red and white are made for 2 x 1.5mm FP200 cable, keeping the run neat and secure along walls and ceilings. Choose the colour to match the cable so the finished run looks right.
