The bits that finish a board

A board is rarely finished with breakers alone. ABB blanking pieces and Hager busbar blanks close off spare ways, while ABB switch disconnector incomer kits give you the main switch for larger three phase boards. We also carry the MEC4M 4 module metal enclosure for small installs where a full board would be overkill. These are the parts you only notice when they are missing, so it helps to have them in the same order as the main kit. A tidy, fully blanked board also looks better at handover and avoids awkward questions from the client.

Control and metering

For control circuits there is the Hager ESC225 contactor and the GreenBrook GBT80C DIN rail 7 day timer, both useful for switching lighting, heating or plant on a schedule. The ABB digital multifunction meter pack lets you monitor a supply, and Bussmann cylindrical fuses cover fused circuits. Check each listing to confirm it suits the board or application. Contactors and timers are often used together, for example to switch a bank of lighting or a heating circuit at set times. A meter pack is handy where a client wants to track usage on a sub main or a particular area of a building. Check each listing for compatibility before you order.

Spares from the counter

Small parts are the ones that hold a job up. This page shows live stock from the Moss Electrical counter in Bridgend, where we have supplied electricians since 1992. If you need a specific spare that is not listed, call 01656 765300. A missing blank or the wrong fuse can mean an extra trip and an unhappy client. Check the page before you set off, and if you need something we do not list, the team will tell you whether it can be sourced. It is quicker than finding out at the board.
