Grid Switch Systems from MK Grid Plus and Deta
How a grid system goes together
A grid system has three parts: a back box, a grid frame and the modules that clip into it, all finished with a front plate. That lets you put switches, isolators and other modules in whatever layout the room needs, under a single neat plate. It is a common choice above kitchen worktops for appliance isolation and in commercial jobs with banks of lighting circuits. Because each module is separate, it is also easier to change one function later without replacing the whole plate.
Frames, plates and switches
From Deta we stock grid frames in 1, 3 and 4 gang, white switch plates from 1 to 6 gang, grid switches including a 10A 2 way module, and a 6 and 8 gang flush back box. MK Grid Plus lines are in the range too, along with grid flush metal boxes. Match the frame to the plate and box, then count your modules carefully. It is easy to get to site and find you are one switch short, so check the listings and add a spare.

One of our bigger wiring ranges
With 54 products, grid is one of the larger wiring accessory ranges we hold. Moss Electrical has been a Bridgend trade counter since 1992, and this page shows live stock and prices pulled from the branch. If you are putting together a larger order or need a module that is not shown, call us on 01656 765300 and the team will help you build the list. Grid jobs tend to involve plenty of small parts, so a second pair of eyes on the order is rarely a bad idea.
We stock far more at the counter than we list online. Call the Bridgend team and we'll source it.
