Spikes and uplights

The ALL LED Sabre2 garden spike takes a GU10 lamp and pushes into a border, so it can be moved as plants grow. The Kosnic Atri is an inground GU10 uplight with a bezel, suited to lighting up trees, walls and planting from below. Both work well where the client wants the garden to look good after dark rather than simply be lit. GU10 based fittings also make lamp changes simple for the client, as replacement lamps are easy to find. Agree the positions with the client in daylight and again after dark if you can, as it makes a big difference to the final result.

Marker lights for paths

The ALL LED Valiant marker light is a low-level fitting for edging paths, steps and decking. A row of markers gives guidance without flooding the garden with light, which neighbours will thank you for. Check the IP rating and supply details on each listing before you plan the layout, and think about how the cable will be routed and protected through the garden. Markers also help with safety on steps and changes in level, which clients appreciate once they are using the garden in the evening. Plan the positions so they light the route rather than the sky.
