Why Procell suits the trade

Procell is the Duracell line aimed at professional use, and it turns up in a lot of electricians' kit for that reason. Multimeters, voltage indicators, cable trackers, head torches and laser levels all chew through cells, and running out halfway through a test is the last thing you want. Keeping a spare pack in the van saves an awkward trip. We stock the sizes that cover most handheld tools and site equipment, so you can grab everything in one go rather than hunting round a supermarket on the way to a job.

Sizes we keep on the shelf

The range covers AA and AAA in packs of ten, single C cells and the 9V battery. AA and AAA cover most torches, remotes and handheld testers. The 9V block is still common in older meters, smoke alarm testers and some detectors, while C cells tend to show up in larger torches and site lights. If you are fitting battery powered kit for a customer, such as wireless alarms or door chimes, it is worth having the right size with you so the install can be tested and handed over on the day.

Stock you can check before you travel

Every product on this page shows live stock from our Bridgend trade counter, so you know whether a pack is on the shelf before you set off.
